Director of Development & Major Gifts
Description: If you’re passionate about working with purpose and changing lives — and you thrive on building relationships and making things happen — this could be your dream role.
With 20,000+ students served and demand growing fast, we’re looking for a Director of Development & Major Gifts who knows how to build trust, close gifts, and drive results. You’ll lead major giving and individual donor campaigns, working closely with the CEO and Regional Board to raise the funding needed to meet the demand.

Girls With Impact Instructor
Description: Host business and leadership classes weekly to a cohort of 30, 14-24 year old students. Empower the next generation of female leaders to impact the community and their own success.
Profile: MBA or similar masters, ages 30-65, current or past business/corporate experience, high energy passionate
Commitment: 6 hours a week, min. 1 year
Pay: $900-$1100 per cohort
GWI Internship Program
Girls With Impact offers a dynamic internship experience for emerging professionals looking to gain meaningful experience in nonprofit management, youth programming, and community engagement. Interns work directly with staff leads across our departments to build real-world skills while contributing to impactful work that empowers the next generation of young women leaders.
All internships are remote-first with opportunities for in-person engagement and event participation. While unpaid, all interns receive mentorship, professional development support, and reimbursements for approved travel expenses. Minimum commitment: 5–10 hours per week for one academic term (fall, spring, or summer)

Marketing Internships

As a Partnerships Intern, you’ll support the growth and engagement of GWI’s corporate and community partner network. From conducting research and sending outreach to managing testimonials and helping plan events, this role gives you a front-row seat to what it takes to build strategic relationships in a mission-driven organization.
You’ll work closely with the Partnerships Team to help us expand our reach and strengthen collaborations that drive impact for the next generation of young women leaders.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct research to identify prospective corporate, university, and community partners
Support segmentation and organization of outreach lists
Assist in drafting pitch emails and tracking outreach in internal systems
Coordinate collection of partner testimonials and stories

As a Development Intern, you’ll work closely with Girls With Impact’s COO to support fundraising initiatives that fuel our mission. This role offers hands-on experience in corporate fundraising, donor relations, event planning, and grant development within a fast-growing nonprofit.
You’ll gain exposure to high-level development strategy while assisting with day-to-day tasks that keep our fundraising and partnership efforts running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to learn how nonprofits secure funding and build relationships with corporate, foundation, and individual donors.
What You’ll Do:
Assist with research and prospecting of potential corporate sponsors and funding partners
Support preparation of pitch decks, donor materials, and sponsorship proposals

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-building, grassroots engagement, and event-based work.What You’ll Do:

About the Role:
As a Student Engagement Intern, you will help drive connection, community, and belonging among our active and alumni students. Working alongside our Student Engagement Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the GWI student experience—from event logistics to peer network growth.What You’ll Do:
Support monthly virtual student events and post-event follow-up
Contribute to newsletter, alumni highlights, and digital engagement efforts
Track student engagement data and feedback for program improvements

About the Role:
As a SheLeads & Mentorship Intern, you’ll help drive two of our most community-centered programs: student-led SheLeads Clubs and our Empower Hour & Impact Pathways mentorship offerings. You’ll work alongside the Program Manager to help grow our network of mentors and club partners, and strengthen the experience for students in both initiatives.What You’ll Do:
Assist with mentor recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling

As a Digital Marketing Intern, you’ll focus on TikTok and short-form video strategy to grow our brand presence and drive awareness of our programs. You’ll produce scroll-stopping content, ride trends, and help shape the voice of GWI for a Gen Z audience.What You’ll Do:
Create engaging TikTok and Reels videos aligned with current trends and GWI’s mission
Assist in editing, captioning, and scheduling posts using tools like CapCut and Later
Research Gen Z content trends, creators, and platforms to inform strategy
Track performance analytics and report on engagement metrics
Represent GWI at live tabling events with a goal of 100+ student sign-ups per event period
